My name is Seth Juarez. I currently live near Redmond, Washington and work for Microsoft.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science at UNLV with a Minor in Mathematics. I also completed a Masters Degree at the University of Utah in the field of Computer Science. I currently am interested in Artificial Intelligence specifically in the realm of Machine Learning and dabble some in Quantum.

Daniel Roth is a Principal Product Manager on the ASP.NET team at Microsoft.

Filip is the author of C# Smorgasbord and over 20 Pluralsight courses, speaker at events and user groups around the globe, Microsoft MVP for 11 years in a row. He loves teaching fellow developers how to master all things C# and .NET.

Maarten Balliauw loves building web and cloud apps. His main interests are in .NET web technologies, C#, Microsoft Azure and application performance. He is Head of Customer Success at Duende Software. Creator and maintainer of https://speaker.travel. He's an ASP Insider and former Microsoft MVP. Maarten is a frequent speaker at various national and international events and organizes Azure User Group events in Belgium. In his free time, he brews his own beer. James Eastham is a Serverless Developer Advocate at Datadog and a Microsoft MVP. He has over 10 years of software experience at all layers of the software development process and has spoken at conferences all over the world.

He answered phones in front-line support, administered databases, and built SSIS packages, as well as developed cloud-native backends with serverless technologies. He spent time at AWS working with some of the biggest companies on the planet, migrating workloads from data centers into the cloud and modernizing in the process.

James produces content on YouTube focused on architecting and building applications with serverless technologies using .NET and Rust. He also has a strong interest in and expertise in event-driven architecture and building more loosely coupled systems.

Goran is the CTO and Co-founder of syntheticAIdata, a startup company dedicated to democratising the vision AI market by providing affordable and accessible synthetic data.

With over 20 years of work experience in IT and a deep understanding of various technologies, Goran worked as an engineering and technical manager, among other roles, developing IT strategies and solutions for well-known clients.

Goran is a tech enthusiast, he writes technical blog posts and he likes to share his knowledge at conferences, workshops, and meetups. He is recognised as Microsoft AI Most Valuable Professional (AI MVP), and his projects have been highlighted on websites such as Forbes, The Next Web, NVIDIA Developer, TechCrunch, and others.

Meet Gerald Versluis, software engineer at Microsoft, who wields the power of .NET MAUI to conquer any project that comes his way. With a career spanning over a decade, he's tackled it all, from frontend to backend and everything in between, using Azure, ASP.NET, and all the other .NET goodies. 

But it wasn't until he discovered the magic of Xamarin that he truly fell in love with mobile and cross-platform development, becoming an active community member and sharing his knowledge through writing, tweeting, and presentations. Chris Ayers is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on Microsoft’s AzRel Risk SRE team, drawing on years of experience in cloud architecture, software development, and DevOps practices. He’s passionate about continuous improvement, driving reliability, and sharing industry best practices. Outside of work, Chris is a devoted father, technology enthusiast, and avid gamer. Once described on Reddit as “technically challenged”, Sarah is a Principal Security Advocate working at Microsoft. She has lived all over the place but currently calls Melbourne home.

Sarah has been working in cyber security since before it was cool, has previously spoken at many security conferences including Black Hat and has co-authored a few Microsoft Press technical books. She is an active supporter of security communities across the globe and a co-host of the Microsoft Azure Security Podcast.

Richard Campbell wrote his first line of code in 1977. His career has spanned the computing industry both on the hardware and software sides, development, and operations. He was a co-founder of Strangeloop Networks, acquired by Radware in 2013, and was on the board of directors of Telerik, which was acquired by Progress Software in 2014. Today, he is a consultant and advisor to a number of successful technology firms and is the founder and chairman of Humanitarian Toolbox (www.htbox.org), a public charity that builds open-source software for disaster relief. Richard also hosts three podcasts: .NET Rocks! Chris Klug is a developer badass-as-a-service that either creates or solves problems depending on who you ask. He loves creating and building things. Whether it be a new application, a new kitchen or a new RC helicopter, you will see him building things all the time. Most of the time, that means writing code and solving problems for clients at a company called Active Solution in Stockholm though. Except for the many days he spends at conferences and usergroups, talking about doing things he is passionate about, and for the days he goes mountain biking, IPSC shooting, kiteboarding or RC helicopter flying.

Barbara Forbes is the Field CTO at OGD in the Netherlands. She is a Microsoft Azure MVP, MCT, and a GitHub Star. In her work Barbara aims to be the bridge between strategy, technology, education and development. Her focus includes the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Generative AI, Infrastructure as Code, PowerShell and GitHub.  Barbara loves teaching in an accessible manner; in person, as a teacher for LinkedIn Learning and as a regular speaker at conferences and user groups. She is actively involved in the tech community, including being part of the organization of European events

Marilag is a solutions architect who is enthusiastic about sharing knowledge across borders, cultures & individuals. Her experience in Cloud and Software Engineering, combined with her passion for mentorship and developer wellness, drive her to tackle the tech upskilling challenge through communities. She’s the organizer of several Azure user groups and the co-founder of Ulap.org, a non-profit organization that helps train underrepresented youths within cloud, data and technology. She often talks about cloud architecture, product engineering, developer experience and leadership. 

Alex is an application development enthusiast since the late nineties and works as an architect, lead developer and mentor at large enterprises and small companies. He spends his time teaching other developers the details of the Microsoft development platform and frameworks, and coaches architects to design and build modern distributed applications at cloud scale. He has received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for Visual Studio and Development Technologies since 2007. In his spare time Alex likes to participate in all kinds of sport, and loves playing and programming new and retro video games.

Rik helps organisations use Cloud better as CEO and co-founder of Zure UK. Whether that is a new adoption where governance and management are key, or an application modernisation project where technology choice and team knowledge are important factors in success.
Through his public speaking and community involvement, Rik is a recipient of the Microsoft MVP Programme award for his work with Azure. He is also proud to be a member of the Microsoft Regional Director Programme. As an event organiser, speaker and lapsed blogger, Rik is keen to share his knowledge with the community, and encourage and support others as they do the same.
His grey hair is an indication of how long he has worked in IT, and in that time he's done most things you'd expect of an IT Pro: From crawling under floors pulling cables, to managing large scale automated OS rollouts, to architecting solutions for on-premises and cloud. Now he spends more time working with his customers' management, sharing that breadth of experience and learning.

Filip is a dual Microsoft MVP (Azure AI Services / Azure Innovation Hub), author of the academic textbook "Introduction to Quantum Computing with Q# and QDK” and an open source contributor. He specializes in cloud technologies, quantum computing and AI workflows. Filip is based in Zürich where he works in the medical industry as a Cloud Architect.

Software engineer by day and AI enthusiast by night. Veronika has extensive experience in full-stack development using C#, .NET, Java and Typescript, Azure and AWS clouds. Public speaker, hackathon volunteer, co-organizer of Boston Azure user group, and mentor. Curious about mobile and Augmented Reality.
Veronika holds a master's degree in Information Technology. She likes dancing, traveling and practicing aerial fitness in her free time.

Thiago has worked on a variety of companies as a developer, architect, and team leader building applications and experiences. He is a former Microsoft MVP and joined Microsoft in 2011 and since then has been working directly with customers driving adoption and development of industry leading applications and services. He's now part of the Azure Functions product group as a technical PM in the developer platform division.

Christian started in 2000 as a software developer. Seven years later he became a Microsoft Certified Trainer and has been teaching other developers ever since. Currently he is a Principal Cloud Architect at Betabit. A software development company specialized in building business critical applications in the cloud.

Guilherme "Gui" Ferreira is a Minimalist Software Craftsman, passionate about simplicity and continuous learning.

Sam is a Microsoft Azure MVP.  As a technical advisor and investor at several cloud start-ups, he is involved in cloud-native architectures and focuses on Serverless technologies, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence.  
While he is currently technical lead and founder at a SaaS-startup, called Sfinx, he has been working as CTO at Codit, one of the leading European Microsoft cloud partners. Passionate about sharing his knowledge with the community, he regularly writes both for his own blog as well as others—such as Visual Studio magazine, Progress Telerik, and StackOverflow. This passion for blogging led to his first book, Blazor in Action, a practical guide to building Blazor applications. He also maintains several popular open source projects under the GitHub organisation, Blazored. Joonas has been working with Microsoft technologies as a hobby since the first version of .NET framework. Currently he works as a software developer at Zure, a company specializing in developing software on Microsoft Azure using its PaaS offerings. He is one of the 6 Azure MVPs in Finland. Joonas is currently the global #1 for Entra ID answers on Stack Overflow (and #6 for Azure overall).

In addition to developing and shipping software on Microsoft stacks for 30+ years, Christophe has been working as a Technical Reviewer for MSPress, Addison-Wesley and other publishing companies since 1996 on books such as "CLR via C#" and the last editions of Windows Internals. David is a Principal Product Manager for .NET at Microsoft, focused on .NET MAUI. A .NET developer since 2002, and versed in a range of programming languages, David has developed web, environmental, and mobile experiences for a wide variety of industries. After several successes with tech startups and running his own software company, David joined Microsoft to follow his passion: crafting tools that help developers create better app experiences. When not at a computer or with his family, David is running through the woods.

SQL Server Performance Tuning Expert

Pinal Dave is a seasoned SQL Server Performance Tuning Expert and independent consultant. With over 22 years of hands-on experience, he has authored 14 books on SQL Server, created 92 Pluralsight courses, and published more than 5,800 articles on database technology on his blog, SQLAuthority. He also holds a Master of Science degree and multiple database certifications.

Magnus Mårtensson is an entrepreneur, a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Azure since the start of the cloud, and a Microsoft Regional Director (RD). He is a consultant, architect, product development lead, and he runs his own company Loftysoft. As an international speaker Magnus travels the world to teach, network, learn, and experience. His passions include connecting with audiences and organizing conferences such as CloudBurst and GlobalAzure. He is of course also into good food, wine, and great company. Topping it all is mind-sharing, so when you see him at a conference, come over and say hi!

Johnny Hooyberghs is a managing partner and consultant for Involved NV, part of the Cronos group, since 2014 focusing on software architecture, backend development and a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for Azure and Developer Technologies since 2020. Prior to joining Involved as a consultant, he has had experience developing software for the health-care sector since 2008. Johnny has been passionate about software development using the .NET stack, cloud native development using the Microsoft Azure cloud stack and quantum computing. Colin Dembovsky is the Director of Field Services for GitHub Copilot. He is a self-proclaimed DevOpsologist and was a Microsoft ALM MVP from 2011 to 2022. He is based in Spring, TX but remains proudly South African 🇿🇦!

After completing an MSc in Computer Science at Rhodes University, he worked as a developer and later systems architect, implementing DevOps “by feel” and in the trenches. In 2010, he left development to start consulting, using his experience, insight and strategic thinking to help organizations put DevOps into practice. By 2019, Colin was leading a DevOps practice at 10th Magnitude. In 2021, Colin joined GitHub as a Solutions Engineer.

Michele Leroux Bustamante is President and co-founder at Solliance (solliance.net), co-founder of PolicyServer (a Solliance Product), a Cloud / Microservices and Security architect, and a Microsoft Regional Director since 2003. Michele is recognized in many fields including software architecture and design, identity and access management, cloud and microservices architectures, security and compliance, and DevOps. During the past 25 years, Michele has held senior executive positions at several organizations, assembled and led high performing teams, and drove delivery and customer success at scale. Michele provides technical and business leadership at Solliance - and shares learnings through workshops, presentations and keynotes. Ardalis (Steve Smith) is an entrepreneur and software developer with a passion for building quality software as effectively as possible. He's a Microsoft ASP.NET MVP and Insider, a frequent speaker at developer conferences, an author, and a trainer.

Ardalis works with companies through his company, NimblePros. They help teams who want to avoid the trap of technical debt to deliver better software, faster. Ardalis and his team have been described by clients as a "force multiplier", amplifying the value of existing development teams. Adele is a Software Engineer and Consultant at Trifork Amsterdam where she is working on systems for the educational sector. Most of her work day is spent in the JVM/Spring and React ecosystems, although increasingly she plays a pivotal role as trusted advisor to Trifork’s customers.

Adele is an experienced international speaker, having spoken at multiple editions of NDC, goto, Devoxx and JavaZone. As a speaker, she uses her exposure to real-world customer projects, experiences outside of tech and passion for story-telling to distill complex ideas into their essential parts. All with an air of good humour.

When she’s not at her computer or on stage, you can find her in the gym pumping some serious iron as she pursues the sport of powerlifting.

Debbie O’Brien is Principal Program Manager at Microsoft. Debbie has over 15 years experience in Frontend development. She has worked as a Tech Lead and consultant for many important clients with varios technologies and often with a strong focus on performance, static sites and testing. She has lead teams both in house and remotely as well as giving workshops and training. She has many years of experience as a mentor for online learning platforms, Treehouse and OpenClassrooms. Debbie is a Google Developer Expert in web technologies, Cloudinary Media Developer Expert and Nuxt Ambassador as well as a GitHub Star alumni and a previous Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in developer technologies.

Debbie has a special love for JavaScript frameworks especially Vue.js and Nuxt.js and React as well as testing where she now focuses her time on Playwright end to end testing. She holds a Frontend and FullStack Tech Degree and is Microsoft certified. Debbie is an international speaker, who has spoken at many meet-ups and conferences worldwide on many continents including Antarctica. She is an open source contributor and a teacher at Vue School and Jamstack Explorers and is also a writer for Ultimate Courses.

Debbie is Irish but lives and works in Mallorca, Spain and when she is not writing code and studying new technologies she can often be found doing all sorts of sports from running, cycling, padel, body combat and skiing and of course Taekwondo where she is a 4th degree black belt.

Hampton has over 25 years of experience in code and over 10 years creating technical content spanning software development, data engineering, cybersecurity, and AI/ML. As a Principal Author and Researcher for Pluralsight he's developed content for OpenAI and Anthropic, with his latest area of focus being ethics, issues, and regulation of deep learning models, including generative AI.

Hampton is an old fart dev that works with what's new and uses it to educate others and break things. Hey pays the bills by making content full time for Pluralsight. You're bound to learn something - likely through hands on examples and subjective opinion. He's an acquired taste, sweet on the inside with a stoic-ish exterior.

Hey! I'm a technical consultant from Madrid. I've been working for years with D365CE and PowerPlatform, trying to increase their capabilities with Azure. I am a proud part of the Dynamics community and love participating in conferences and events to share my knowledge and learn about other people's experiences and new functionalities. 

I'm in love with everything data in .NET - Entity Framework, System.Data, vector databases, and anything else that has you talking to some sort of database. I'm especially interested in making things go faster, and going deep into the guts of things in order to make that happen. I'm also one of the developers working on Npgsql, the PostgreSQL .NET provider..

Liam Westley was most recently Head of Engineering at FreemarketFX, a fintech startup specializing in foreign currency trading, with a cloud native platform in Azure, helping expand a single development and QA team from eight people, to five teams, while obtaining an Ireland banking licence and implementing full Azure regional redundancy.

Previous to FreemarketFX, Liam worked at Huddle helping the mobile and desktop teams create apps to play nicely with microservices.  At Criteria MX, a digital media startup and he has worked as a consultant specialising in software for Broadcast Television. His Niagara SMS moderation system was used by QVC UK for eight years to display SMS messages from viewers, live, on screen. Liam is also responsible for the ticketing system for Hat Trick Productions which provides e-tickets to shows such as Have I Got News For You and Room 101.

Liam has worked for chellomedia, GMTV, BSkyB, SmashedAtom and Original Thinking Group. In his time he created the first in house weather system for Sky News using Visual Basic 1.0, acted as architect for two general election systems, project managed the launch of the GMTV web site, was key to delivering the first interactive television chat service in the UK for BSkyB and helped launch the first live shopping channel in the Netherlands.

Dylan Beattie is an independent consultant who has been building data-driven web applications since the 1990s. He’s managed teams, taught workshops, and worked on everything from tiny standalone websites to complex distributed systems. He’s a Microsoft MVP, and he regularly speaks at conferences and user groups all over the world.

Dylan is the creator of the Rockstar programming language, and the founder, vocalist and lead guitarist with The Linebreakers, the world's greatest nerd comedy classic rock disco alt punk covers band.

Glenn F. Henriksen is a mentor and developer from Norway. As the co-founder and CTO of Justify, he gets to build new legal tools for everyone to use, helping to create better communication and less conflict in relationships. He's continuously exploring new tools, processes and technologies, and improving how he and his fellow developers work with code, tasks and projects. He has been a Microsoft Development MVP, a part of the Microsoft Regional Director program and is an ASP.NET Insider and an Azure Advisor. In the past 25+ years he has co-owned two companies, worked as a consultant, manager, support tech, network admin, developer, architect, technical lead and more, but his favorite things are still swapping code for food and building stuff that makes a difference in people’s lives.

Rachel currently works for JetBrains as a Developer Advocate. She has been in the business of creating software for over 25 years, as an author, mentor, and speaker at top industry conferences such as Techorama, //build, Øredev, NDC and SDD. During her career, she has worked on projects of all sizes from the smallest of apps, to the largest enterprise systems at some of the world’s leading companies.

Rachel’s expertise is in web development on the Microsoft stack, specifically Azure Functions, ASP.NET MVC, Web Forms, SignalR, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Her hobbies include science, AI, reading, languages, and travel.

Niall is an Irish guy who managed to end up in Norway after finding out the country existed when he was in New Zealand. He works at Microsoft helping customers with their technology investments. He has very strong opinions on security, web tech, food and wine.

Laila Bougria is a Solutions Architect and Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the Microsoft .NET space. She's a keynote speaker, a Microsoft MVP in Azure and Developer Technologies, and frequently shares her knowledge and insights at conferences worldwide. Currently, Laila is busy building NServiceBus at Particular Software and solving distributed riddles. When she's not immersed in complex problems or code, Laila enjoys indulging in her favorite pastime - knitting! She finds that tangling the yarn into beautiful patterns helps untangle her thoughts.

Originally from Belgium, Bart relocated to work at the Microsoft headquarters in 2007 after graduating from Ghent University while being a C# MVP.

After having worked on WPF and .NET for a few years, Bart focused on reactive programming for quite some time, helping to build Reactive Extensions (Rx) and large scale event processing systems powering various cloud services.

After a brief stint in AutoML focusing on Python performance tuning, Bart is now focusing on building next generation distributed systems in the office of the CTO.

Steve Sanderson works on the .NET team at Microsoft, making the platform better for application developers with a focus on AI and the web.

Scott works on the Azure Developer Experience team at Microsoft. His team builds all the tools for Azure (Command-Line, VS Code, Visual Studio), the Azure SDKs and many developer services including App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps and many more. Before Azure Developer Scott led the ASP.NET and .NET team rebooting .NET with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core. He is also an avid hiker and Formula One fan.

As a lead product manager for Azure Developer Compute at Microsoft, I am responsible for the PM team that designs the developer experiences for serverless and microservices applications in the cloud. This includes Azure Functions and also Microsoft's contributions to Dapr (a CNCF incubations project for building microservices). In my role I'm very passionate about helping developers succeed building high-scale distributed applications, and building a strong collaboration with customers so we're in tune with their needs. We're having fun learning and challenging the status quo in a breadth of technologies and languages, e.g. Linux, Windows, Python, Node, Go, Java, .NET, Serverless, containers, service meshes, and application observability. Mads is the Lead Designer of C# and an Architect at Microsoft. He's worked on C# since 2005, and on programming languages for quite a bit longer. 

James Montemagno is a Principal Lead Program Manager for Developer Community at Microsoft. He has been a .NET developer since 2005 and has been crafting multi-platform apps for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows since 2011 with Xamarin and now .NET MAUI. She is focused on improving productivity via GitHub Copilot, MCP, and Intelligent App improvements in the .NET / C# space across VS and VS Code.  Leslie also worked on the Visual Studio team developing and enhancing extensibility and debugging features. 

Safia is a software engineer on the ASP.NET Core team at Microsoft working on building open source web frameworks.

Andrew is a Principal Product Manager who works on the public cloud offering, Azure App Service as well as the on-premises Azure Stack variant of App Service.

Marlene is a Senior Developer Advocate specializing in Python and AI at Microsoft, a computer scientist, keynote speaker and explorer. She is the current chair of the Association for Computing Machinery(ACM) practitioner board, was the previous vice chair of the Python Software Foundation and led the first PyCon Africa.

Shayne Boyer is currently a Principal Program Manager at Microsoft, leading a team responsible for the development, management and execution of the Azure developer tools and the language end-to-end experience to ensure a smooth and seamless developer experience on Azure. While focused on developer experience and productivity in open-source technologies, Shayne also has a strong presence in the dev community as a member of the .NET Foundation and an active contributor to open-source projects. Additionally, he is a Platinum Director for the OpenJS Foundation, which is a community-driven organization that supports the healthy growth of the JavaScript ecosystem by providing resources and tools for projects, maintainers, and the community.

Jennifer Marsman is a Principal Engineer in the Office of the CTO at Microsoft, focused on generative AI with OpenAI models.  She has worked for Microsoft for over 20 years; previous teams include Azure Cognitive Search, AI for Earth, CSE, Developer Evangelism, the Assistance Platform, and the Natural User Interface Platform (reorged from the Natural Language Group).  Jennifer is a frequent speaker at software development conferences around the world, including the United Nations AI for Good Summit. 

Since 2016, Jennifer was recognized as one of the “top 100 most influential individuals in artificial intelligence and machine learning” by Onalytica, reaching the #2 slot in 2018. In Dec 2017, Jennifer was named one of the “10 Influential Female Developers to Know and Love on StackOverflow” by Traackr. She has been featured in Bloomberg for her work using EEG and machine learning to perform lie detection. In 2009, Jennifer was chosen as "Techie whose innovation will have the biggest impact" by X-OLOGY for her work with GiveCamps, a weekend-long event where developers code for charity. Previously at Microsoft, Jennifer was the Principal Software Engineer Lead of the Grok AI group on the Azure Cognitive Search team, where she focused on applying machine learning to unstructured data.  Prior to that, Jennifer was the Principal Engineer of the AI for Earth team, where she used data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to aid with clean water, agriculture, biodiversity, and climate change.  Jennifer was also a software developer in Microsoft’s Natural Interactive Services division, where she earned two patents for her work in search and data mining algorithms. Jennifer has also held positions with Ford Motor Company, National Instruments, and Soar Technology. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Based near Seattle, Brady Gaster aspires to make it easy for .NET developers to party in the cloud as the product manager behind Visual Studio’s Azure right-click publish and Connected Services features. He also helps with Aspire tooling support in Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code. When not designing new tooling features or building demos with teammates, he’s trail running 5Ks, parenting two teens, mixing new 174 BPM drum’n’bass sets, or producing his own electronic music.

Jorge is the Principal PM Lead for AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), a fully managed Kubernetes platform on Azure where he has served thousands of customers as a Product Manager since its early days. Formerly he was the Technical Lead for App Dev and DevOps with the Azure Global Black Belt team and has implemented and architected solutions in Azure since 2012, spanning across different roles from Services, Tech Evangelism and Tech Sales. He holds a MSc in Computer Engineering and has a mix of Dev and Ops background having worked as a full-stack developer before moving to a system administrator and later to a DevOps engineer role prior to joining Microsoft. Maddy Montaquila (formerly Leger) is a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft and the product lead for Aspire. She’s been building dev tools at Microsoft since 2018, working across the .NET mobile stack and helping bring .NET MAUI to life. Maddy has been obsessed with making developers’ lives easier ever since her first dev tools internship, where she realized it perfectly combined her tech background with her passion for product development.

These days, she’s focused on making modern distributed app development suck a whole lot less. Maddy’s an experienced speaker who’s presented everywhere from local user groups to major keynotes, known for bringing great energy and a genuine love for dev tools to every talk.
